What do You mean by "most valuable"? As far as I know, best sounding version is UK first pressing A-1/B-3 which was never sealed because in UK they didn't seal records.

If by "sealed" You mean US copy, than in theory is probably possible to find early US pressing sealed, but it will cost a lot (with Pink Floyd LP's being popular and in demand nowadays).
Personally I don't see the point in overpaying for obviously inferior sounding US copy just for the fact of it being "sealed". But that's just me.

So many people know the cost; so few know the value.

Keeping a sealed record for an “archival” copy makes no sense. Shrink wrap can and will eventually warp the record and cause damage to the sleeve. Better off buying a NM/NM first UK if you want an archival copy

Not really a record I have thought of as one to tuck away. Not realky rare or valuable. The best sealed copy or valuable, depending on your definition of valuable, perhaps the "sky blue" label variation or the original US Quad.

They did with this one. Black opaque shrinkwrap, to be precise.

Right, I forgot about that. Still, don't see the point of keeping record sealed.

Another thing in case with UK pressing, the inner sleeve made from thin and hard cardboard with sharp edges which usually becomes a reason for lots of small scuffs in the beginning of every side. It's really not easy to find a truly NM copy, even if it was sealed. Still always a gamble.
