  6. Are we including partial sessions?
You know, when you are doing something else and you pop the TV on, find something to watch, and next thing you know you watched the whole movie, even if you started 20 minutes in.
For full length, watched on purpose movies......I never kept track but I know I have seen each more than 20 times.
    Star Wars (A New Hope)
    The Empire Strikes Back.
    The Princess Bride.
Santa Clause is Coming to Town.
    Rudolf The Red Nosed Reindeer.
    The Grinch.
    The Wizard of OZ.
    The Great Escape.
    The Dirty Dozen.
    Kelly's Hero's.
    Jaws.
    Alien.

Seeing some real multi-viewed favourites here.
Seeing some titles I've never seen and never will see.

My son told me to watch this. I was hesitant but caved in...and had a good laugh.
Not something I'd watch repeatedly but I enjoyed it.

    Big Trouble in Little China
    The Thing
The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai Across the 8th Dimension
    Blazing Saddles
    Caddyshack
    Fletch

Have only become a fan of films (particularly Blu-Rays) over the past few years. But one movie I have seen quite a few times already is They Live.

Add Fletch to the list as well. I've had the VHS, DVD and now Blu-Ray.

Andy Smith .....Like a good pinch of snuff......

The Christmas ones get some hammer every year, specifically Alastair Sim's A Christmas Carol, Murray's Scrooged and, of course, It's A Wonderful Life and Love, Actually. They're all probably racking up serious double-figure points.

Away from the seasonal ones, these are the go-to discs. The most watched:
    Field Of Dreams
    Restless Natives
    The Rocky Horror Picture Show
    The Legend Of Bagger Vance
    Local Hero

You may have noticed the common denominator; the feel-good factor.

Catching up fast are a couple of Hanks films, The Terminal and Cast Away

I very rarely watch anything more than twice. When I was in high school, I taped The Warriors and The Kids Are Alright off of cable, and my friends and I would watch them quite often.

In the last 15 years or so, I've largely stopped re-watching anything. Under the theory that there are so many films out there unseen by me, why spend time re-watching something I've already seen? I don't have much time available for films, so I'd rather spend it on those I haven't seen yet. Back in my twenties and early 30s, it was a different story. I had more time, and I was more obsessive.

I think it's probably "Pee Wee's Big Adventure". Grew up with it. I watch it with my daughter now.

Midnight Madness. It’s a little known comedy from 1980. We taped it off HBO when I was a kid and became obsessed with it. I’ve easily watched it over 100 times. To this day I still watch it at least twice a year. It’s a comfort movie to me.
I just wish it had a Blu-ray release.
