Music Matters 45 Clifford Brown Memorial sound of reel tape fluttering...

On the Music Matters 45 LP Clifford Brown Memorial Album... Is there the sound of a tape reel in the background on side 4? Specifically, on the track “YOU GO TO MY HEAD”. Please let me know if anyone else is hearing this so I don’t go crazy. I don’t believe it’s on any of the other tracks? Now I’m thinking I’m hearing it elsewhere ....But I do believe there is the sound of tape on a reel fluttering on that specific track. It’s very prominent.

 

I think what you are hearing is the drummer using brushes.

Sounds fine on my rig.

 

conjotter HAHA. I know what brushes sound like. There is a definite background noise that is a static flutter sound when at higher volumes that isn’t on the other tracks. I will keep listening though. Maybe it’s my system? I don’t think so though. Thanks!
