You only titled the thread here with that accusation.

And btw, she wasn't. Amazon screwed up, not her. And she returned the package the next day....I've had neighbors do this and I've actually thanked them for doing that versus just leaving it out on their porch all night long with the possibly of a porch pirate snatching it.

So let's hope, for your sake, if this occurs again that she isn't completely spooked and just leaves it on her porch and you aren't around this time to catch it.

 

I'm glad your life isn't as busy as some of our other members. I already posted a good reason why it might've taken that long had it been me. Plenty of other circumstances could and might've happened to her. Ignoring context to stubbornly cling onto your opinion is "pretty weird".

Not passionate. Just calling you out on your jumping to conclusions about a stranger's character and inability to see beyond the life circumstances of your own life, as evidenced multiple times in this thread.

I would hope you learned a valuable lesson about all this but it sounds like pride isn't allowing you to enrich yourself from the experience. Too bad.

You're barking up the wrong tree with that comment - my son takes several medications that are perishable, and are mailed to my home.

If this same situation occurred, I still wouldn't accuse my neighbor of any wrongdoing, I'd be on the phone with the vendor who delivered it to the wrong house and to get them to resend it on their dime ASAP. And that's for medication, not an LP that could certainly wait another day.

 

It would take me less (much less) than a minute to walk a package to my neighbor's, drop it on the porch (or in the door), ring the bell, and return.

I didn't get the impression the OP lived on a palatial estate where his closest neighbor was a half hour away.

Maybe the neighbor was preoccupied. Maybe she was just inconsiderate. Maybe she thought she'd see if anyone asked for it.

 

Thanks for confirming you didn't read my post. Shame you have the inability to understand people's lives and circumstances can differ from yours.
