    upbeat melody
    impossible high notes
    hopeful lyrics about love
guitar riffs that serve the song

plus a lame pun on your original question?

For straight Pop, any of the hit singles from about the mid to late 60's written by Bacharach-David. Besides just being incredibly melodic with lyrics which, phonetically, fit the songs perfectly (and MAKE SENSE)they all have the most natural sounding bridges you could hope for in a Pop song.

Here’s something a little different: “Come On and Kiss Me” by Sun 60.

Besides Joan Jones’ delicious voice, check that arpeggio break where time...slows....down..... like you’re actually leaning in to that perfect kiss. Then, back to real time like a breaker hitting the shore! Ahhh.
