Yeah, I got it out. Took a while. Wanted to make sure there wasn't any kind of surprise under there. That would be just like Neil. Unfortunately, there's nothing.

Will have it tomorrow, according to tracking. If I had ordered from the US store I probably would have been hit with handling charges so I am quite content to have had the downloads for now.

Here's what you can do to get the cover art of any cd in the archives:

Select a CD on the timeline (for instance Tuscaloosa)
Click on the image, it will then enlarge
On the image right-click, select Save As
In the Dialog box change the name to Tuscaloosa.html and save to a folder location (f.i NeilYoung).
In the File explorer go to the folder NeilYoung.
You'll see the HTML file and a folder named Tuscaloosa_files.
Open the folder and you'll see a number of files including the image file, either jpg or png.

I'm sure this has been said before, but "Goodbye Christians On The Shore" is worth the price of the entire box. How a song so good stays unreleased for so long is dumbfounding. It will take awhile for me to work my through the whole set, but so far it is stunningly good. Neil at the peak of his powers with Crazy Horse, CSNY, Joni, the Stray Gators and others.

I had to use that one because for some reason they put my order in the 'guests' section rather than 'registered customers'.

Agreed. Has kind of a “country girl” vibe.

One thing that strikes me about the Walk On disc is how well the tracklisting works. I really like the "Bad Fog"->"Borrowed Tune"->"Traces" sequence.

Besides the additional Archives Volume 2 box set release on March 5, 2021, it's my understanding we are also expecting the following releases:
January 15, 2021 Neil Young And Crazy Horse Way Down In The Rust Bucket
February 12, 2021 Neil Young Young Shakespeare

Is there a thread here in this forum or is there some other website that shows a list of scheduled Neil Young releases and expected release dates?

It’s interesting to me that Neil revisited some of these songs over and over, while others were discarded.

Neil messed around with “Love/Art Blues” during all of 1974, then dropped it. “Homefires” popped in and out of his set lists over the years. For no particular reason, “Changing Highways” appears after 21 years. “Separate Ways” was resurrected in 1993, then put on hold again. “One More Sign” was another song he could neither release nor stop recording.

But “Daughters”, Vacancy”, “Frozen Man”, and “Goodbye Christians On The Shore” were never touched again and never played live. “Daughters” is a good as almost any of his acoustic songs. But we didn’t hear it for 46 years.

It was the first thing recorded with Poncho. Given the timing of the recording of 'Broken Arrow', I assume they were talking about the old days and this song came up. Makes sense it got revisited after Briggs passing.

That is indeed interesting. Separate Ways also appeared live in 2013 or so.

    And yes, Daughters is great.

Related but unrelated, I really enjoyed the band version of Deep Forbidden Lake.

So what is LA (story)? The track listing stated that LA was unreleased and that LA (story) was previously released...I would think it would be the other way around. Those that have the box set, which is which?

My Vol. II box just came today, as well, and it’s just overwhelming in physical form. I will say that, IMO, I like this book better than the one in Vol. I (which is still a solid book). Not just because of the fact that it’s a hardcover book this go around, but the contents feel less like a bunch of collages put together in a scrapbook format. In this book, I can see full photos and read most of the articles and handwritten notes and lyric sheets without them being cut off. Maybe this is because, without a Blu-Ray/DVD component, there’s no place other than the book within the physical set for people to read and absorb these things.

It's Neil's typically good humoured stage banter just before he plays the song. It's the acoustic version, by the way. Just vocal and guitar.
