To partially justify the cost, I'm sure this will be a CD/DVD combo.

Were Crazy Horse involved, one could hope for another Ragged Glory.

    It's a solo record.

Yes, let's hope the emphasis is in music and not in politics.

He's in my top five anyway.

I'll have to hear this one before buying it. I've been burned too many times by Neil's releases over the past 20 twenty years. Most were a "piece of crap" IMHO.

I'm always curious about a new Neil release but Lanois' involvement makes me really interested in this one - I'm not a huge fan of Lanois generally but I feel like he'll probably rein in some of Neil's more self-indulgent tendencies. Based on the interesting cover and the reports I've heard about the 'Twisted Road' shows I think this could be a special album.

Could be interesting, might have to check it out. I was hoping for a release of the 1974 CSNY shows said to have been in the process of being prepared for release, or another "Archives" live album....

How is Lanois pronounced in the US???? If you pronounce it "properly" in French (something like lah-noo-ah) then I don't see how you can make a pun with the English word Noise...

Anyway, I am curious to see if this time the album really comes out on BluRay. If it's only one month later then it should appear on Amazon soon.

Lol. Why did you keep buying his work if you thought it was crap? 20 yrs is a long time to finally work out you don't enjoy something.

Don't forget that he's officially releasing three unreleased albums fairly soon, too.

  16. The new material was received very well by the critics during his recent tour with Bert Jansch. I'll certainly give this one a listen.

According to ROLLING STONE, a Blu-ray disc of LE NOISE will be released in November. Lousy title, BTW, but cool cover image.

It's okay with me if Neil doesn't use Crazy Horse anymore.

  22. I'm really looking forward to it.

probably because he wanted to save his money for a CD he was buying for the 5th time at an inflated price.
