Pre-ordered on Amazon day one. Got a message won't get it right away. Delayed. Amazon #@!%^$#£€÷!!! And I have Prime.

 

I have just received a “delayed”email notice for my vinyl pre order from amazon. Now not due to arrive until 15 Jan. I’m not sure if that accounts for my somewhat remote location or not. Oh well I guess I won’t be spinning this over my holiday break after all.

 

They can't ship items that never arrive in their warehouses . . . It sounds like indys such as Bull Moose got priority

 

The horror! Looks like I’ll have to visit a record store to get this.

 

Mine say's December 27th delivery. I will gladly wait, just passing the info in thread conversation as an ongoing curiosity of release dates and shipping.. See ya, and happy Xmas and Merry New Year!

 

Any thoughts why the LP isn't AAA ?

 

Because of the mix of cassette and multitrack sources maybe?

 

Cover is horrible, actresses should stick to their job

 

Neil has worse covers. See "Are You Passionate" or even "Peace Trail." Neil's designer should stick to his job.

 

Mine is the vinyl too. Now says arriving Dec 21

 

My amazon order now says arriving Jan. 3, seems that Neil is favoring Canadians that use amazon for on this one.

 

Just checked my order status, mine is arriving tomorrow.

 

It's here and available in the UK since Friday. I havent played it yet though.

 

A 24/176 digital source is used for the vinyl version.

 

I played through the first side yesterday and read the liner notes on the gatefold. Sounded fine to me - it is what it is, but the performance is great.

 

So my amazon order is now scheduled for December 27. Anyone know what happened?

Spinning mine now. Picked it up at Music Millennium yesterday.

 

my copy turned out to be faulty. sides 1, 2 and 4 play ok, but side 3 has a wooshing noise throughout play.
will have to return it in hope of a better copy...
does your vinyl sound fine throughout all 4 sides?

 

It was available in my local HMV on Sunday.

My amazon order said Jan. 3 the other day, just checked now and it says Dec. 27, I will remain patient.
