I'd buy a stand alone DVD of this in a second. I don't need the big box set.

I hate when they mix vinyl with CD and they only get away with it because vinyl addicts are willing to pay exorbitant prices.

The CD is $14.97, or so, but if it was $69, I wouldn't buy it.

    Good for you.
Vinyl still available as standalone, and not exclusively in a deluxe box set, as per your post that I responded to.

As a person who thinks modern vinyl prices are a bit much, only putting the DVD/Blu-ray in with the Deluxe edition sucks as I would love to have the video.

At Bull Moose I'm seeing $99.97 which I assume is the DE, and $69.97 which I assume is the 4 LP set. No details whatsoever there.

I guess that's the going rate, so your point is correct. But I was talking specifically about the mixed deluxe edition. If I want the Blu-ray , I have to buy vinyl --which I haven't bought since 1985.

Edit--at $100, the deluxe edition is actually reasonably priced for those who are into vinyl.
But I still don't need it.

And that exactly proves that he is right.
He did not say that vinyl is only available in a big box but the dvd

  17. By quarantining the concert film in a $100 box set Mr Greedy Hand continues his anti fan Archives roll out.Whether its this, the price of the vinyl ATGR50 or the whole Archives Volume 2 fiasco the 100% strike rate of doing the wrong thing by his fans continues.
While some will applaud him for preventing fans buying the DVD at a reasonable price anyone who has no use for or interest in vinyl will feel let down again.Of course he posted a few months ago in LTTE that the Return To Greendale concert bluray would get a stand alone release but of course that hasn’t happened.
As someone else posted last year “the biggest missed opportunity and most poorly executed project in music history”.We can now add the most exploitative.

This is exactly the reason I didn't buy the last 5 or 6 box sets I otherwise would have bought. All the kinks ones, the cat Stevens ones and one or two more.

I'm very interested to the DVD. it's not a matter of price. I'm running out of space. I don't need a box of vinyl for getting a single DVD. It's not a marketing choice. It's rather an extortion counting on the deep pockets of the loyal fans.

Yeah, I’ll probably buy the standalone vinyl version. But no ‘Cowgirl’! WTF? Got to make room for that etching on side 8 I guess!

Why can't they release a CD DVD combo without the Vinyl? Some fans like myself just don't have the money or space for more big boxsets. Archives Vol 1 and 2 take up half a cupboard

Jpc.de has the 4 LP for 87€ and the Deluxe for 110€. Way more than I was expecting from the US prices.
