  1. Why not do one of ELO’s bestselling albums aside from one that received an audiophile release already? Face the Music, A New World Record, Out of the Blue...

Unfortunately not. Which is why they are motivated to do it

Well, now your post has me pulling the CD of this album out of the big Columbia box to see about these re-recordings done at break-neck speed.
You mighta saved me a few bucks young fella. We'll see...

Well, that didn't take long. Now this album has now, in my mind moved into the "strange choice" category. Having this as part of a CD box is enough for me. Another penny need not be spent on this one.

The SACD is OOP already? If there was another pressing coming one would think they would leave the listing alone.

  7. As they did with the SACD.

Eldorado and Still Crazy After All These Years would be definite buys with me.

I wish it were up to me, ‘cause I release all the ELO 70’s output in true audiophile form.

At least one. I'm in for the SACD. It's one of my all time favorite albums.

Just wondering....Leonard Cohen, could that be a No or Go for MoFi?
«I’m your Man» was a commercial success, great songs and high fidelity recording. A perfect re-release. :)

Sorry, if I should post this in another thread.

Also sacd titles limited to 1,500? That’s only about $40,000 of revenue. This is nothing compared to the one step revenues.

pretty niche market these days for sacds.

So they did away with the Simon one step and most of these titles are meh with a bone or two thrown out there.

Beat me to it. Who is clamoring for an audiophile pressing of Twisted Sister?

The Twister Sister is only on vinyl, not SACD, so not "audiophile".

Fingers crossed they’re still doing Still Crazy After All These Years and Eldorado as One Steps, and they’re just waiting until 2021. If they were doing those in 2020, that would’ve made 6 One Steps for the year and maybe they just decided that was too many.

Sad but true story.... when i got my copy on release of Rocktober, the store had several copies in the bin,
and a few more in the back. I had a close look at the jacket before going to pay for it, and noticed all of them
had seam splits and a bent corner. The shop manager checked the back and about 5 more copies they had were
the same. Obviously someone had dropped the case of records, or something really heavy fell on it.
I knew this LP was going to be worth some good money when it sold out. Shame about those wasted ones.
They had one copy that was perfect, and it went home with me :)

Santana ‎– Supernatural 45 RPM caught my eye, I'll buy that one.

They also just reissued this title 33.3 rpm in case anyone has been wanting it for around $25.00.
