Thanks!!!! I never know when a show is starting if it weren't for posts on the internet or chat boards like this. I would have missed recording it to my DVR, although I'm sure it would be On-Demand.

    Thanks again for the reminder.

    No prob!
Heck, if I hadn't 'searched-around' the 'ol channel guide, to see what I was gonna watch now that "Preacher" is done, I woulda never spotted it myself!
I mean, c'mon! Like I have the where-with-all to watch the USA network to find out when it starts!

    Question:
Doesn’t your DVR pick up the new season if you’ve recorded previous seasons? It should.

    Maybe.... I don't have a DVR.

Wow, I had no idea. Thx for the heads up. I am not going to watch it until I get the whole season though, so I can binge watch at my leisure!

I wouldn't know since I setup the DVR to record a show at minimum a week before the specific episode (control freak?? - LOL). I should try it and see what happens if I indicate that I want the DVR to record all episodes of a particular show.

    Don’t do that. lol
It’s much easier to record all shows, new episodes only. Then when a show returns, it picks it right up.

    Couldn't keep my eyes open...
    but, it's up 'On-Demand'!
So, once the day gets going, I'll watch it at my leisure!

Are there commercials On Demand you have to sit through?

    sometimes......
    but, NOT THIS TIME!
There's just a small USA commercial, then, it's BACK TO THE ACTION!

After watching it, I just thought of something:
Wasn't the crazy 'drug-dealer' prison-break guy supposed to be back?
    What happened to him?

  18. Are we talking in another thread about this show, because 3 episodes in on the final season and nary a word about what's happening. o_O

I think it's been pretty damn good through episodes. It has the feel that it's winding down, but also that there's enough story to tell that will entertain.

  20. You're right, the 3rd episode started to drag the more it went on. I like the White Rose origin stuff, but then...I don't think that the parts, themselves, were dull, but when the viewer knows that there is now a tight time constraint - around 24 hours? - you would expect the pace to speed up to match the plot. Of course, the players in the show don't know this yet. It's curious.

    Slow build?......maybe?....
PS. I guess Mr. Carnevale is no longer on the show?....did he die?...I don't remember.

  22. I don't think the first two episodes were slow at all, though.

That dude, he was a "cleaner," so I think his job was done.

and we've got a psychopathic taxidermist on the prowl now!

  24. I thought the 4th episode seemed to drag even more. It was entertaining, yet outside of Elliot's trek through the woods, none of the other plot lines added anything, even though they were good in themselves. Eh, the Santa bit got tedious, because I kept thinking, don't they need to hurry up? They have a party they need to attend!

Maybe this was a homage to that TV show 24.

  25. Ep. 5? Really a good one. It was top-notch. Unbelievable, but top-notch in the way that this show can crank the tension.

I seriously doubt those donut boys would have given chase for that long on foot. I can't believe that any of them could run that far, for that length of time.

I still liked it quite a bit, though.
