I'll go out on a limb here and predict Missy will be in the Final Five. She' s smart and a fighter. Not a bad looker either.

Another player goes home with an immunity idol in their pocket.
Well, bye-bye Chelsea. It' s your own fault for getting together with Dean who must now realize his fate is doomed. Just as well.

And , Noura. ..nice try with your b.s. story but nobody bought it. I mean nobody. You are on your way out.

There's a tribe swap next week so it could be a re-set for some people. I can't believe no one on Lairo is worried about Aaron or Missy. They targeted two of their own alliance members over a perceived showmance instead of ya know, talking it over first. It can't be smart to show your disloyalty this early in the game. For what it's worth, Chelsea says in a post-game interview that there was nothing going on with Dean and that cuddling was a rotational thing with different partners on any given night. I'm also beginning to believe Karishma may be around a good while.

    Could be.
They're playing her up each episode like she' s on the way out but then...
She needs a trip to Island of the Idols to talk with Boston Rob and Sandra. They'll straighten her out.

I'm still not getting this thing where someone returns from visiting Boston Rob and Sandra and they don't say what really happened.
Noura got back from her trip and there was the other woman ( name's slipping my mind) who went a couple of episodes ago. They both know what's up so where's the communication? Confusing.

It would appear that editing is leaving a lot out that address the very things the audience may be confused about. As I stated in another post, Vince revealed that he and Elizabeth commiserated about their experience on Idol Island but that was never shown and Chelsea said Dean cuddled with everyone but they only showed the two of them as if it were a regular thing. Apparently, the show has a narrative they want to tell so here we are.

I read your previous post about Vince and Elizabeth.
I get that they didn't have a lot of time to talk but how much time does one need to lay the whole thing out? Make a big stink at Tribal Council ! It' s been done before.

Vince simply claimed he was clueless they were targeting him otherwise he would have blown up Tribal. Another interesting thing I forgot to mention is that when Chelsea went to Ponderosa, everyone already booted was there to greet her. I assumed before the jury membership begins, anyone voted out went home but it's been 11 or 12 days and they're still there. No explanation was given.

Oh ! I thought all the exiled ones stayed there for the duration of the taping of the show.

After googling it, I guess that is the case. Don't know why I thought they were free to go. For the early boots, it looks like a month vacation although it must get boring after a couple of weeks.

Actually it wouldn't be too bad. They're in a tropical environment and it wouldn't just be the players there. The entire 'Survivor ' crew would be around , plenty of food and drink and a somewhat festive atmosphere.

Okay, I googled again and found an article quoting former contestants on these matters. They're kept at Ponderosa until the point when jury members are expected, then shipped off somewhere else. I figured there would probably be some sort of separation between the groups. And it's depressing, fun, interesting all mixed together. And the game continues with most now trying to push their agendas and influence each other as to who should win. Yeah, sounds like a blast.

Sorry to see Tom go ( first Canadian player) but I guess it was inevitable.
Karishma got another pass but she'll just get used and will be gone.
' Detective ' Dean remains a goof. Even Boston Rob predicted he'll be a goner.

That was the first I ever heard mentioned that Tom was Canadian. Poor Rob & Sandra got bumped this episode for an extended Appleby's commercial but man, were these people excited over that life changing reward challenge. I did have to laugh at the tribe swap though cause after they switched, the tribes didn't look any different to me cause I still don't know who half of these people are. I don't know how Karishma's family & husband will react when they watch her pouring her heart out about everything to a bunch of people she's pretty much just met. Other than that it was all great.

Again, the editing gives virtually no clue that Tom is the focus for the votes. Dean looked like a goner but he got no votes. Karishma will probably end up in F3 as a goat. Ho-hum. I'm not averse to spoilers although I won't post them here out of respect to those who don't want to know. However, since he's gone, I can reveal that Tom gave several interviews before the season started where he gave away some info about the first few episodes and his own demise. Will he be banned like that guy (forget his name) from last season or the one before who didn't get to attend the reunion?

i get the whole 'editing' thing, but WTF with krishna. enough is enough. if her tribe even comes close in the next few challenges i will call 'fix', because they have no one who can do anything except the young kid.

quickly becoming the worst survivor season ever.

    quick fixes:

get rob and sandra out of there, useless and stupid waste of time.

let the purple tribe lose every challenge until the merge, because without help they do not have chance in hell. 2 of them along with the whole orange tribe go into the merge.

get krishna out of there, seriously, her still being there is a slap in the face to the game. she is hideously out of her league here.

stop the over-acting, the whole scene when probst told them they were getting applebees was borderline disgusting. they were being directed, it was obvious, applebees isn't even a good restaurant, it is on the bottom of the bottom of chain restaurants. the black girl was acting like she was getting 'morton's steak house' filet mignon, she was literally 'screaming" (directly at the cameraman, mind you) with 'excitement".

i have never missed a single episode of this show, time for an overhaul, or it will fall quickly.

There was a whiff of Tom being talked about when one of the women said she didn't want him in the merge.
As for Detective Dean , once again clueless as to what's going on. He obviously was not in the loop about Tom.

That was a tad over the top. Sure, they're hungry. But it did seem scripted.

I haven't seen excitement levels like that since 70s porn.

if you still have it saved, watch the black girl staring directly at the camera and screaming her lungs out about the applebees dinner.

scripted is not the right word, coached and told exactly what to do and how to act would be better.

We have a 'on demand ' service here and I can watch this and any episode any time for the next six months or so.
I sometimes re-watch an episode but not too often. I pay close attention the first time through but I may just have to see this already infamous Applebee's scene again.

I was thinking about your post and the idea of the jury members being together at the Ponderosa.
That might make an interesting sub-show spinoff.
It could start with the first jury member arriving and bitching about how he/she was blindsided. Each week a new jury member would arrive and the bitching would continue and escalate as more and more arrive They'd all have additional insight into the backstabbing going on.
    Could be quite entertaining.

There are usually Ponderosa videos posted on YT that show these very things. I do wish they'd incorporate some of the footage into the show a la Big Brother but there's a lot to get through on any given episode so I get why they don't. Probst addressed this in an interview a few days ago. With only 42 minutes per episode, editing has a lot of footage that needs to be pared down so things often get left out. At least, this is how they spin it.
