Or for anybody looking to pay 4x retail, you can find the stereo here, haha, I never understand why they think people wouldn't look around first. 5000 units is gonna take a long time to sell.

Hello, new to this site, I just got mine stereo version May14, numbered in the 960's. Sounds awesome,
but has a significant amount of surface noise between all tracks! very disappointed. Also, the case has
a lot of unnecessary empty space just for the album a thin booklet. Does not look look like a custom fit.

I was thinking of selling mine and using the funds to defray the cost of a decent Stones ticket. Hmm. Tough call

Nah, its a record. Do what you feel will bring you the most pleasure. But be aware, this is the only record of ABAL that will sound just like this.

I'll get an honest and independent review up on my web pages as soon as [though I wont be rushing it] so if you can hold onto that copy for a little while longer it might help make your mind up, maybe :)

Neither do i....but common sense sometimes comes into it. Plus it depends on what the title means to you and what you can get in its place.

Well my common sense has told me not to sell any records, regardless of title or what it means to me.

    Each to their own.

Thanks for asking, Yes, first thing I did was clean my cartridge (Ortafon OM 20) and gently
washed the record (even thought new). Turntable is a Dual SC 5000. It definitely is the record.

Haha. Actually might wait to hear what you say. I do have the Classic mono, as well as an orange colored vinyl pressing from Newbury Comics that is also mastered by BG (haven’t opened it yet because I heard it might be the same as the Classic). I love the record but am now thinking I might not need three reissues all done by Bernie. Ahhh, I’ll probably end up keeping it - I rarely manage to sell anything.

the Orange Newbury is exactly the same as the 2013 black.

all three, Classic 2000 [and repress to 200grm], 2013 [2015 Newbury] and the UHQR all are different. For that reason alone, all worth owning.

Its fascinating just how Grundman presents one mono title three different ways over nine years.

I’m not sure if this has been posted already... although not on the box, the lp jacket itself is numbered in gold foil. My stereo copy arrived today, preordered 7/21/18
