    Throw on the Van Halen DCC and the original for your friend, see if he thinks that DCC pressings don’t have a lot of low end after that :D

    I own a few records from Brazil that did reduce the top end for the inner groove tracks. Sadly, they were original pressings from my favourite band and the original masters were apparently long gone.
