I've been a member of Your Music since January '05 and lately their shipping has slowed and their customer service communication, which used to be great, is horrible.

They still haven't shipped out my 10/30 pick. They never send me an e-mail anymore when something is shipped out or on backorder. Last month I ordered three CD's. A week later, they weren't shipped out. I looked and it said one was on back order. I e-mailed them about this... Then the CD that was on backorder was shipped.. followed two days later by the other two, which they had in stock all this time.. THEN I got a response from their e-mail.

Sadly it seems the more members they have, the worst their customer relations will go. They used to be super in e-mailing customers and answering questions.. now you get nothing for days and days.

 

i still haven't gotten my disc which was shipped on 10/15! i have a feeling it got lost in the mail, but they said they can't do anything until a month has passed.

 

My experience is that they take a while to ship.
My queue items are due on the 18th, they don't typically ship for two or three days.
But they do arrive quickly once shipped. My recent order of the Dylan SACD box took only 3 working days to reach Seattle.

 

My queue items have been shipping later too. I still havent gotten an item that was supposed to ship at the end of last month. Probably be here tomorrow though. I used to get an email when it shipped, but not anymore.

 

Have they ever added any more of those classical Living Stereo SACDs to yourmusic.com? I bought one or two of them awhile ago from the first wave, but there are a couple of others I want. It's difficult to search for classical there, IMHO.

My shipments have slowed quite a bit lately. Mine are due to ship on the 8th, and yet the last one didn't get shipped until three weeks later. I'm just about out of selections, though, so if the SACDs I mentioned don't materialize, I'm going to bail for awhile. It's easy enough to join up again!

 

A couple of weeks ago they added a couple more of the LSO Classical SACD's but none of the Living Stereo .
I've heard good things about the the LSO Beethoven Symp 2 & 6 SACD they now have there and will pick it up. Will be my 5th, 5th on Hi-Rez.. .
