At least since it's a picture disc there is no label and you can wash it in the sink with little issue.

I want what I get every year...a list that I’m lukewarm about, then a day when I spend 500 bucks and get a bunch of records I love.

I do. According to prices I usually see that weekend, it's about ebay flippers.

I love the concept, but it's become a circus. People camping out for hours, even overnight, it's nuts. I always found record shopping to be a mentally calming, enjoyable exercise, and RSD is sort of the opposite of that, even aside from the profiteers. There's no guarantee I'd even be able to get the one or two things I really want without being one of the first few people in line, and I just don't have that kind of determination. But I also think that's a lame way to distribute important titles.

(I also think the increasing complaints about flawed/cheap pressings around this time is due to the strain on pressing plants and inevitable lack of QC due to the flood of RSD releases, which isn't really good for the hobby or the format long-term, but I digress)

Rush - live in chicago 1996 (or 1997). It would be nice to have the whole show that the Test for Echo songs on Different Stages came from.

I like the Pink Floyd 1977 live album idea too.

That still goes for crazy money. I'm not sure why he didn't reissue it himself. Even if he didn't want to do a large run, a limited run would likely sell out.

I remember many years ago he mentioned the possibility of lp reissues.

And a fair chance to actually buy them, at retail price, at an actual record store!

Sorry, am a bit sour about missing out on the Evans release, and from the incessant gouging.
