    I guess my years of experience in data collection & processing suddenly means naught. You need a hardwired sampler with push technology because correcting inconsistant sample rates are a bitch. I don't personally own one do you? I hope this helps …

    Grant... take a deep breath! How can people learn if they don't ask questions of people who (ostensible) know more?

    I don't know why you haven't been, I've been able to follow what Mart is asking (at least, I *think* I understand him).

    I presumed that he "got" your point about getting some digital editing software to experiment with noise reduction on his own, and was simply asking where to get a hi-rez audio file to experiment with.

    Not every home audio tinkerer has access to hissy analog master tapes, and even if they did, probably wouldn't have 24/192 D/A converters.
