No. I have both and my Okki collects dust. You can get just as good results with the Spin Clean if you augment the brushing with a Mo-Fi or Disc Dr brush:
    Mobile Fidelity LP Brush

I manually scrub the exposed portions of the record while in the SC tub. Then hand dry only with the SC towels. Not only is it faster than the ON, there's less risk of static and the records sound/look just as clean. If you still want to try the ON I can sell you one cheap.

From my experience having a vacuum machine was another level up from hand drying my freshly cleaned Vinyl. I found my Record Doctor V RCM decreased the noise over hand drying after a Spin Clean but YMMV.

Owners seem to love the Nokki RCM's so I don't think you can go wrong with one of those units. But if you don't mind doing some extra manual work the Record Doctor V is less than half the price. Not as sexy but it does an excellent job.

Well yeah. I've never used a Spin Clean and after watching that video I'm glad I have an Okki Nokki.

You said “Montreal” and “dealers” so I thought HiFi Pro made sense. I think that if you already know Amazon has it for $100 less it makes sense to either buy it from Amazon or go to HiFi Pro and ask them to match Amazon’s price.

Before I got my Record Doctor V I used just the Spin Clean and it works o.k. as a standalone cleaner. I have since been using it to do a preclean and that in combination with a second cleaning with the RDV has worked well. I found the combo better than the individuals IMO.

I found it really useful with very dirty LP's or ones that have a skip to do a presoak before a vaccum clean. Never failed to clear a skip so far on used vinyl.

I like mine, but after about 15 months of medium usage, the motor burned out. I noticed a lack of suction and a weird burning smell when the vacuum is turned on.

I'm going to send it in for an out-of-warranty repair. It will cost me $99 + the inconvenience of packing it up and shipping it out. I don't need it immediately, and $99 is better than buying something new - although I was tempted to drop 1,600 on a clear audio device.

You know, I don't get the static thing. I let my records rotate 5...6 times while vacuuming and I have absolutely no static issues.

It matters not here, summer or winter. No static from my method.

You can also check out the VPI 16.5 RCM - that's what I got. Found a few when I was looking for around $400 and looked brand new. I got an older model that came with a lot of extra brushes, tubes, replacement felt strips etc. Disk Doctor solution works best for me.

Okki Nokki or similar RCM - definitely worth it - huge difference.

Not sure what that is? Mine is the earlier model with metal vacuum wands.

Mine was made in Germany before they started making them in China.
