I think Fabian was supposed to host that episode of "Hullabaloo", but he broke his shoulder doing an episode of "The Virginian".
Great catch thanks. The dancers facial expressions and stiff/professional TV moves were always a turnoff for me even as a young kid. It seemed so phony, I was cynical from the beginning I guess. That sport jacket that Leo was wearing in the movie was sharp. It seems like the same type that Landon is wearing but to grainy to tell for sure.
LOL! I had to look it up but no Fabian never broke anything bone wise. Fabian did do 3 The Virginians. The last one airing Oct 1966 titled The Outcast.
Cat Stevens? Wouldn't 'David Gates' or 'Jackson (Jackie) Browne' or 'Richard (Dick) Carpenter' sounded more authentic?
Scanning the dial to find a movie and I see this little number "The File Of The Golden Goose". Released in 1969, Scotland Yard, US Secret Service, counterfeiters in Europe okay I'll try it. I was floored when I saw the Director's name,... I didn't know the character in Once U A T I Hollywood was real. He was an actor also, if you guys already knew this then carry on.

Quentin Tarantino Turns His Most Recent Movie Into a Pulpy Page-Turner Warning: new spoilers not in the film are in the article.. Book looks cool. I think I’ll get it.
So much yes. I’m getting two. One to read out on the water until it falls apart, and another one to dive back into years after putting it away.
They had a change of heart because they hoped for parole someday... just like other criminals. Anyone who believes in such a change of heart must have thought Michael Corleone renouncing Satan as he set into motion a decapitation strike on the other families was sincere as well.
>>>>Quentin Tarantino Turns His Most Recent Movie Into a Pulpy Page-Turner Saw him talking about this on Jimmy Kimmell last week and I just got my copy from Amazon yesterday. It was almost a perfect artifact/copy of a 70's movie novelization- right down to the ads for other paperbacks in the back pages... except there is NO SECTION OF PICTURES FROM THE MOVIE in the center of the paperback!!! Tarantino have had to know this would be a disappointment. I can't imagine that the cost would have been affected that greatly- to make it a truly "retro" artifact.
I’m sure it was a cost issue. I bought two copies of the book at $7.50 a piece. I would not have bought two copies at $12-15 a piece as easily.
I got mine. Since they actually have a total of 8 photos from the film between the front and back covers, I think I actually like this better than a section in the book.
No mate that's what I was wondering, which version is the super size one ? Just read someone’s post saying one was going for 400.00, I’ve got the collectors edition with the 7 inch LP and Blu ray.
is it the one with the posters and orange LP, have you got a link or pic please for the super deluxe?
A few years ago, I found a bootleg DVD of the Raiders in my local record store & there were 3 more DVDs stuffed in the case. One of them was a duplicate of the bootleg DVD, another was 2 hrs. worth of their appearances on Where the Action Is & the final one had footage of the 1997 reunion of the circa 1966 lineup w/o Paul Revere, which was 1000x better than that 80s thing posted here.
Here's the one I have, it's called the Collector's Edition https://www.amazon.com/Once-Upon-Hollywood-Collectors-Blu-ray/dp/B07YTD3CLT
I think that is a fair statement. I don't believe in director worship. Actually, the more creative any artist is, the more they step out of everybody's comfort zone and present their creativity. If you direct different types of movies, it is highly probable that all of them will appeal to all audiences. You can look at the filmography of any actor or actress and there will be good movies and not do good movies that they will have made. It comes with the job. Rosanna Arquette once made one of the most honest statements to come out of Hollywood. She commented that she made some bad TV movies so she had a check to pay the rent. Most of Hollywood is not on the "A" list. Like anyone else, they rely on paychecks to earn a living and pay their bills. Not every movie any director makes is going to be a hit or be popular with everybody. I didn't have high expectations for this movie, but I came away liking it much more than I expected to.
