As a person who idolizes those years I fear people are going to get sick of the 1967-74 timeframe. But then again we all seem to bury ourselves in all thing post WW2 to 9/11. I love it all.
Never in my wildest dreams, in the late 1970s as I wrote about those times in college, did I think 1967-74 would be held in such awe 50 years later. I pray it lasts for it keeps me relevant.

I actually think he's best in light comedy when he's relaxed, stuff like starting over, he had an easy going charm which worked well on that and the smokey films

 

Always saw him more in drama/angst mode all the way..heck his cowboy character shot John Wayne in the back ( he’s very proud of that).
