Opinions on new Isley Brothers?

Anyone give the new Isleys a spin yet? Amazingly, it debuted at #1 this week (see link below). With R. Kelly producing, I hope the Isleys' new one is as good as Chocolate Factory....

I hope i'm not as disappointed with it as I was the last Isley Brothers album. The last one was still too smooth.

I want some funk and rock!

 

I agree the last album was a little spotty, but I'm thrilled that the Isleys have scored the second #1 Pop album of their career. Wow nearly 28 years that has to be a new record for the span between first and latest #1 albums!! Not bad for a band that has been recording for 45 years!!!

 

...but it don't mean a thing if it ain't got that swing...
