January 1967 (?) - Photos Session with Henry Grossman and/or Jean-Marie Perier. The Date is in dispute. These photos are usually referred to Early 1967, only Hans V. Fulpen says January. Must have taken place prior to 17. February.

It's his hair - too much body on top and a dodgy fringe.

We all have bad hair days - fortunately for most of us they don't make the gatefold of a huge selling album!

i took this picture my self at the beatles fest in chicago. they were showing pictures of the Butcher cover photo sesson. i thought i'd take a few shots, i like this one the best.

Has everyone here seen Mark Hayward's recent book "The Beatles Unseen'? It's completely amazing. Most of the photos are unpublished shots taken by fans and family members. There is a couple of amazing shots of Paul and John sitting in the sun playing acoustic guitars circa mid '66 or so.

A few more. I believe the first photo was taken at the press conference at Suffolk Downs in Boston. 1966. I'm guessing #3 originated from The Casbah club. Does anyone know for sure? The last photo was taken circa August, 1961.

Same venue, a month later. May 1961. Paul hadn't taken over on bass yet and must have played lots of piano. Nice shot of George and Stu. Speaking of Stu, he's the only one wearing the "Beatles look" here.
