ok wait, I see Yoko on this one, correct? Right in front of John. So a closer look reveals that she was airbrushed out of the other more well known photo used in the Blue Album gatefold. ah-HAH!

 

someone recently e-mailed me this one, i've never seen it before!

 

That was taken during the filming of the SFF promo. Not sure where but it was definitely in the UK.

I believe you're thinking of the Penny Lane promo film shoot.... and this pic is actually a bit earlier, from a different session.

 

Are those real buzz cuts in picture #2 in post # 108??? They look kind of fake. hehe

I like those pictures from near the end where everyone was known to be fighting and not getting along too well, but even then there were good productive times to be had.

My favourite too. I believe this Richard Avedon photo was taken in late 1966.

Here's a variation found in the interior gatefold of the vinyl album "Love Songs."

 

It's amazing 40+ years later...and i'm finding pics of the Fabs i've never seen before. Found these two recently on the web. Quite uniqe...turtlenecks at an outdoor gig in Abbotsfield Park, Lancashire, Aug 5/63.

 

The boys in full flight in Adelaide (Jimmy is on drums) plus Paul McCartney meeting the luckiest boy in Australia (at that moment, at least). He certainly looks pleased

 

This shot was actually taken during a day off from touring, in southern Missouri. Not sure if it was '65 or '66.i
