Hearing those over and over would me my idea of hell.
AAARGH MAKE IT STOP PLEASE!
Love that song, but has it ever been overplayed anywhere? Bad Moon Rising I could maybe see ...
wish you were here
Two tickets to paradise

Light my fire
Another Saturday Night - Sam Cooke
"One of These Nights"
"Paradise by the Dashboard Light"
I Want You To Want Me
A song I want at my wedding for sure! Such a classic!
Roundabout, Levon, Walrus, Eminence Front, American Pie, Highway 61.
I'll just pick two specific hit singles which have remained mainstays of Classic Rock and/or Oldies radio or both..no matter how often either one of these comes on (which is very often), my juices start a-flowin': Magic Carpet Ride by Steppenwolf and Crimson and Clover by Tommy James and The Shondells. For what it's worth, i get even more pumped when I hear the rarer 45 mix of MCR..but I'll take either one.
Life on Mars: Bowie
Blue Monday: New Order
Golden Brown: The Stranglers
Suspicious Minds: Presley
Superstition: Stevie Wonder
Ashes to Ashes: Bowie (a huge 1980 hit in the UK, on TV and radio)
Re: IWYTWM...live or studio?
NOTHING by CCR can ever get overplayed for me. It's not just that the songs are great, it's the sound of those records...Fogerty's guitar and voice, in particular.
Sultans Of Swing
There was a time in my life i wouldn't be caught deceased twice over listening to that song. Today, I think it's one of the most beautiful songs ever..I'll throw in another one along those same lines: the instrumental hit version of A Summer Place.
Everything by "the mops" but I didn't want to get into that.
re: 25 or 6 to 4.....one of my all time favorite guitar solos by anyone...never gets old.
Bohemian Rhapsody. Not only is it an excellent piece of songwriting and musicianship, but it's also fun.
Still enjoy ;
Stairway to Heaven
Deep Purple performing an amazing version in Chile last night.
Beatles: I want to hold your hand
Badfinger: No Matter What, Day After Day
Byrd's:Mr Tambourine Man
"Barracuda" still chews me up after thousands of plays.
Zep's Stairway To Heaven and Kashmir and Sabbath's Iron Man and Paranoid are just as awesome as the first time hearing them.
