DCC Archive Paint peelin' barn burners

Hmmm, I just got done blasting Ray Smith doin' his jackass brayin' barn burner tune Come On Little Mama (good old Sun Records RAB killasonic ditty) and it got me to wonderin' just what kinda stuff youse guys and gals dig when you need to clean the wax outta yer ears... Forget hi-fi snob-o-phonic sound and mono vs. stereo battles, just ante up those songs you hit repeat over and over for. Cave Man Hop by Jerry Coulston makes me go ape (source of the immortal line "ah gah ga boo, gaga ooo ooo gaga"), or the Zakary Thaks flame throwin 45 of Bad Girl b/w I Need You (Kinks fans gotta hear the ZK's take on I Need You - it's a burner - get the new Sundazed digital drink coaster and hear these tunes from master tapes, not crappy disc dubs that have been floating around)...

 

To peel paint off the barn I'd have to say the Ryko CD by "Big Guitars From Texas" which includes both their albums Trash, Twang and Thunder and That's Cool That's Trash!

 

john zorn's cover of "TV eye" always works for me.
