I don't think we're going to see these reserves met until, possibly, the last minute flurry bidding starts.

I predict the 35DP-4 going at $1200. Nice, clean gold-tint copy with crude matrix and CBS/Sony customer questionnaire card. Smooth case. Only thing that would complete the package would be the obi.

But then you'd be looking at $3000+ ($5000+ if it was sealed)

It's almost over $750 now and the reserve has still not been met. Good luck, Ralph2!

Booklet has 3 finger dents. Getting high for a un-mint booklet. :)

I have several sealed black-triangle discs that are like the Abbey Road disc on eBay.

For those interested, that sealed Meddle disc is a later pressing. Note the white tray. The small booklet tabs also indicate a later jewel case. It may be a legit sealed copy, just a later one.

Yes, it indeed should be a later press. You can also note the obi strip with the price of 3,008Yen written right below the EMI logo. The first/earlier press includes the 3,200Yen written below the logo (and with no white border surrounding it like the item in auction does).

You are sure to get the Toshiba-EMI pressing with TO in the matrix with the item being auctioned off. Earlier ones were pressed (1) at CBS/Sony with no TO or CDP numbers and (2) at Toshiba-EMI with no TO in the matrix but with the CDP number.

However, it is known that all pressings of the CP32 Meddle use the same mastering, unlike the Dark Side of the Moon black triangle.

    35DP-4 gone for US $1,000.99 [ 39 bids ]

  10. A little too rich for me, seemed in great condition but am a bit surprised that the prices have gone up for it by so much.

Good price. Way out of my comfort zone.

I picked up a copy of the 35DP 4 for $20. I'd stretch to $80 for the gold face :).

I got my gold face 35DP 4 for 10,000 Korean Won (about $8.80). I want to see someone beating that. :)

I also got the 35DP Final Cut at the same store for the same price, but that was several years ago. (And I ended up trading it away to a member here and ended up paying close to $100 to have it back in my collection. I thought I had another copy but it turned out I didn't).

The store, by the way, went out of business this past winter. You can guess how sorry I am about that. :)

The winning bidder's feedback is private. I always get suspicious of those who hide their feedback.

Me too, when it happens I always think is an alias for the seller, or a seller's friend
