Good grief! Is that real or a spoof? I have the Dylan complete albums in a harmonica with a usb (official but same quality as cd). I think the Early Years individual cds are available as cd quality official downloads.

The latter. Earlier in this thread, you can read about a member here who actually created their own, though.

So, after *finally* getting around to checking the Blu-rays in my set, everything seems to be okay... the two discs with the potential defects both loaded fine and seemed to play like normal. (Phew!) :p For all the people who got defective discs, were there any particular clips that wouldn't play for you? Or was the main issue just that the discs wouldn't load in the first place?

Check out the quad mix of Atom Heart Mother. If Alan's Psychedelic Breakfast plays in full, you're lucky.

Crap! I thought I was in the clear based on the initial set of issues in 2016 for the ‘72 and Bonus Disc Blu-rays, but just noticed this one... was there a replacement program for this disc?

More than that: there's the sound of water slowly draining in the sink, and several dozen drops falling. All in all, 47 seconds that you won't hear unless you extract the audio using software.

Is there a flying pig for sale. That I might consider if it really looked like the one on the Animals cover and not just a repurposed Schleiff toy.

    That's what I'm getting at.

I don't think this issue has ever been addressed. The audio is there, as others have said, but the authoring doesn't let you hear it if you play the track through the menu. Appallingly shoddy.

Taking the time to "fix" the hidden Meddle on the individual sets and NOT taking the time to fix the AHM is pretty weak for sure.

...and just downright weird to fix the bad edit before Pow R Toc H in the '67 live show but leave the entire recording out of phase.

Agreed. Ah well, at least I’m in the same boat as everyone else rather than standing on the shore...

And I thought it was more a "fix" anyway.

Not as much of a "fix" as removing the hidden Meddle mixes, in a panic.

Wonder if the staff noticed that 'mistake' just after some buyers reported about it.
I don't believe they kept those remixes hidden for the people to find it like an easter egg. They're much more worth than that.

It's definitely not an easter egg, it was a mistake, and that's why they deleted that mix from the standalone release of Reverber/ation.

It's so weird actually. They worked years and years on that big set and then it looked like it was some rush release with those mistakes here and there.
I very hope Meddle gets a dedicated box set on its own with the (amazing!) remixes sometime.

It was rushed only because the multichannel mixes of OBC and Meddle had to be pulled at the last minute and almost a lot of artwork needed to be redone.

...but surely that doesn't explain the phase and edit problem on the '67 show or the authoring problem for the AHM quad.

Could you elaborate more the issues with AHM?
