    Station17 Time to play B-sides...

Dark Side definitely one of my favorites...I’ve never been to the Louder website...all polls and lists to me seem valid for their intended audience.

Hardy surprising given the Louder is a classic rock and rock'n'blues website.

Glad Appetite For Destruction is on that top ten. Love Dark Side of course.

Pet Sounds was #40 and Revolver is #18.

I am surprised that Pet Sounds is even on the list as it is stretching calling it a rock album and I don't mean that in a bad way.

However, I think I will hang on to my various copies of Dark Side for a while yet :)

Amazing that neither of these albums made the top 50 list.

Both Floyd albums are amazing. But yes, I prefer Queen II over A Night At The Opera, too.

Physical Graffiti as #9 is just silly. I think I'd rank at least 5 other LZ albums higher than it.

You've cemented your status as the cool lone wolf of SHF. Can I wear your letterman jacket? (P.S.: The comparative analysis tipped your hand.)

Appetite for Destruction is without question a great rock record, but I would literally all of the rest of the top ten in this list ahead of the G'NR album. Agree with Dark Side in the top spot. Incredble album that holds up remarkably well 46 years on.

    Yo,

Congratulations to Pink Floyd on this result, for sure, & deservedly so too. I see this album taking "top-spot" in polls for decades to come.

Not a bad top-ten list either, as I'm happy that I have all the albums mentioned, so that's good too.

I had no idea that AC/DC remain popular enough to have 2-albums up there, so kudo's to these boys too. Nice to see straight-up no-nonsense rock 'n 'roll holding up so well, & with albums from 2 x different front-men too. Very pleasing & surprising to see.

Long live Rock 'n Roll !

I am not going to argue DSOTM, cause there is an argument.

But some very questionable albums in that top ten, even laughable.

If I were being honest, I would have put Zep IV at no. 1. It’s been played to death over the years, but track for track, it’s a great hard rock album.

Hey, it's really good. But not the first or second Beatles album I would pull to listen to. Way better Beatles to listen to than that one, wouldn't even consider it top ten.

Only three would make my personal Top 10, not necessarily in this order. Three's about average for these polls.

Hold on a minute, don't close the poll just yet, another candidate here. Bought DSOTM day of release and loved it for years, after it disappeared along my musical journey it's memory was vague.

This site sent me back and my God it's cr@p.:hide:
