    Nice set-up!

Is that a 2m black you have on there?

    Thanks!
Yes, that is a 2M Black.

I've also taken the plunge and purchased the PLX-1000. Is the motor quiet on this turntable? Rather hear silence between tracks (with the exception of click and pops of course!).

Mine is silent, so I'm very happy.

Are you guys using the stock standard feet or special damping isolation feet?

Standard feet with the whole thing sitting a butcher block

I've often wondered what the butchers block brings - is it a form of isolation or something else?

It does look good in some of the pics I've seen

So without the Butchers block there would be noise?

    Another stupid question....
Regarding adjusting the feet to level the turntable...
Does it take a bit of force to turn the feet? I couldn't get it to turn. I just don't want to break it.

I remember it was quite easy but the first twist might've taken some force.

Nice to see you posting on here again Lymbo.
What clamp are you using there?

    Thank you!

That is a Clearaudio Concept clamp.

Well I have to agree with Lymbo, Stefan and other owners of this TT. The PLX-1000 is something special!
I set it all up following all of Stefan's calculations in regards to VTA, mats to use and such and WOW! it sounds awesome.
The Shure M97xe cartridge that didn't sound at all good on my old Genie TT has now been resurrected and singing beautifully on the PLX-1000.
Not to mention the 2M Carts I have as well.
I couldn't be happier. Thanks guys for all the help and info provided in this thread.

If this has been posted already, I apologize.

The Isonoe feet fit the PLX perfectly:

I was wondering this. Thanks! Any improvement/difference in sound quality?

Just got them less than an hour ago. I'm going to do some listening tonight. Even if they don't provide any type of improvement in sound, they sure look pretty cool.

I normally don't play with the pitch control, but doesn't anyone out there use it and, if you do, for which records?

I've heard that they make little difference on a Classic Pioneer DD model. From a reliable source. Price wise they are beyond a joke.

They help quite a bit with foot falls - they do a great job at isolating the table. Looks nice on your setup - I like the black.

They make a substantial difference in table isolation. My M5G with Isonoes - handle foot falls and dancing with my wife much better than the VPI classic which will skip at times. And they look cool as hell.
