@Purple Jim asked me to run a poll for Bad Company so here it is. I picked the songs issued as singles and the more frequently played live tracks from this period. Have fun!

Except it didn't have any tracks from the Burnin' Sky album so it was really 10 From 5. It also omitted some charting songs in favor of album tracks.

It was cool back in the day as I had a copy on cassette for my car.

I respectfully disagree. Like someone else said, it was only from 5 of the albums. Burning Sky is a terrible omission. I could have lived with a "14 from 6" or something like that.

The following tracks charted in the U.S.

    Can't Get Enough #5
    Movin' On #19
    Good Lovin' Gone Bad #36
    Feel Like Making Love #10
    Young Blood #20
    Honey Child #59
    Burnin' Sky #78
    Rock 'N' Roll Fantasy #13
    Gone, Gone, Gone #56
    Electricland #74

Bad Company and Run With The Pack did not chart and Everything I Need was only released in the U.K. and some other countries.

If you selected the charting tracks for your 10, these would be your choices.

The tracks which charted in the U.K. were as follows:

    Can't Get Enough #15
    Good Lovin' Gone Bad #31
    Feel Like Making Love #20

Love this band... a tad inconsistent on the back end of the catalog, but still a great great rock band. First three albums were exceptional... so was 'Desolation Angels.'

Easier than I thought, as long as I don't try and have an order for my chosen top 10.
Under rate band on this forum IMO....I've always thought Ralphs to be a very under rated player too.

    Can't Get Enough
    Bad Company
    Feel Like Making Love
    Run With The Pack
    Burnin' Sky
    Ready For Love
    Gone, Gone, Gone
    Electricland
    Ready For Love
    Rock Steady

Oops I somehow left off Rock and Roll fantasy... I'd Probably swap with Electricland, but the vote is cast.

You listed Ready For Love twice. No Movin' On?

It wasn't played live enough to make the list. I like the song though.

I am surprised Good Lovin' Gone Bad, Burnin' Sky and Gone, Gone, Gone aren't doing better in the poll since they all charted while I'm also surprised that Shooting Star, Run With The Pack and Silver, Blue & Gold, Ready For Love and Rock Steady are doing so well and they either did not chart or were not released as singles. In addition, Bad Company which was released as a single and did not chart is currently leading the poll.

It would be interesting to know how many people just voted for the track listing on the 10 From 6 lp.

Oops, good catch. Looking it over, I only cast 9 votes. So my answer is, take the second RFL off of there and install "Rock n Roll Fantasy". It was the song that introduced me to Bad Company, when the album Desolation Angels came out and RnR Fantasy was played on the radio. I soon after became acquainted with the debut. I used to have the 45of RnR-F. The debut was the only BC album I had for many years,

"Movin on" could easily make my list, as could "Seagull"/"Good lovin' gone bad" and a few others. Maybe I felt obliged, without thinking about it, to make my selection span more of the career. I like the hits, but I like the albums too, and not just the debut.

For those who may not know Ready For Love, Movin' On and Can't Get Enough were all written while Mick Ralphs was still in Mott The Hoople.
