    Bass played by Larry Knechtel."

    That's one more for Knechtel.

Harvey Brooks played with the Doors at the Forum in LA and the Madison Square Gardens as well. Could it be confirmed that he was the only bass player that ever performed on stage with the Doors (with or without Morrison)?

They toured with a bass player post-Morrison, Jack Conrad.

There is a flub at 05:24 on the isolated bass track, if that's the one you mean.

Doug Lubahn played Bass on Wild Child, Wishful Sinful and Easy Ride.
All the others, and Queen Of the Highway (Jazz Version) is Harvey Brooks.

The isolated videos of the bass track (by Larry Knechtel), vocal track and drums + piano bass track, I posted, are the real deal.

If you listen closely to the remix you can hear a double tracked Mike Love singing to the tune of the bassline

    "Come Light My Fire Baby
    "Stoke My Desire Baby"

Always wondered if you could hear bass in the "Live" recordings of those shows

Was listening to the Live At The Madison Square Garden1969 boot the other day, I could hardly even hear Robby's guitar on it.

Hoping one day we'll get a good (hey, even an average one would do) SBD recording of the show cause what we have now is just dreadful.

Another upload of the same isolated bass track was posted dated March 2015.

Has a fuller sound compared to the earlier video posted in this thread.

Is it a vintage track or was it created just for Rock Band.....?

^ I can read the comments about the photo too....

And I have no idea what "jacked" means.

I voted No bass guitar, who needs 'em when we have Manzarek on keys. I have never thought of a bass guitar.

I have that same Joe Osborn Lakland bass! (pretty rare).
The vid sounds spliced & offspeed in a several places.

There's definitely a bass guitar AND the bass keys played with Ray's left hand

This is making me think of the Moody Blues song "I'm Just a Singer (in a Rock 'n' Roll Band)" where the video shows Ray Thomas playing a sax. Apparently, Ray never played a sax and that Mike Pinder's recently acquired Chamberlin pedals emulated that sound on his Mellotron or something to that degree.
