Yes! I was singin that part to myself when I clicked on it! One of my favorites from them and I love Entwistle's B side "When I Was A Boy"
(also Happy Jack, Pictures Of Lily & Dogs.)
    Love 'em all though.

I wish you had included non-album B-sides. "Baby, Don't You Do It" is a hands down favorite that is rarely included on compilations.

    Great idea for a poll.

    I went for:
    • I can’t explain
    • Let’s see action
    • Join together
    • The Relay
Long Live Rock was another of those early 70s semi forgotten classics.

It was also on The Kids Are Alright and was released as a single from that album.

    Anyway etc
    Substitute

And then it got really difficult. I love Relay but Dogs is such great song with those wonderful harmonies and I'm a boy is so much fun. If anything this post has put The Who on my listening schedule today.

    Agreed.

Long Live Rock; Recorded 1972 not released as a single for yonks and not put on any album until years after it was recorded or released by Billy Fury.

Rather sad that it was not released as a single in 72 or early 73.

If that bothers you, then just consider it a poll of songs that first appeared as singles and were not lead-off singles for forthcoming albums.

The poll is A sides released in the USA and/or UK. The only one of yours that would qualify is "The Last Time" which I excluded on purpose.

I first encountered them on the Hooligans compilation, along with "Let's See Action."

I love it, too. I'll make a poll for the non-album B-sides, eventually, unless someone beats me to it.
