it’s not incredibly complex but it fits the song perfect.

  6. A quick one from Tommy Tedesco in the early1980s, just a little bit under 2 minutes

Its just a simple little thing, but every time I hear it I just feel like it fits the song perfectly and just sounds wonderful. Expands on the nice melody of the song, has just enough dirtiness and grit to grab me.

John McGeoch's playing was so damn special.

    Solo begins at 2:08

    He heavily influenced Carlos Santana.

If it's already been said, then I second it! (4:31 mark)

Two weeks ago it was finally time for the long-delayed concert from the Australian Pink Floyd Show. I have seen these guys for the third time now and they are just incredible.
Now they got two guitarists and each was playing one of the Comfortably Numb solos, just fantastic. So close to Gilmour when I closed my eyes I felt the 70's coming back!

Norco74 For the good and the not so good…

Does it get any better than the version of Machine Gun on this album?

If there’s only one solo from Hendrix I would recommend you to listen, it would be this one.

Pretty much anything this guy plays. So how about this whole song, it’s one long guitar solo, really.
