Furniture in a room is room treatments. It has always worked for me. Every room does not need specific room treatments to achieve good audio.
I find that most empty rooms do not make for good audio reproduction. Although I have been known to sit on the floor and listen to my La Scala's, I generally prefer having a sofa to sit on and a place to put my drink.
This is interesting to read. In the fall I'm going to be upgrading my system and have been leaning towards a simple vintage system: 70's receiver, some old kefs. But reading these insights makes me think I need to rethink!
Noriyuki Kawano Sound Inc. MC.JBL. It's solid all right. But also temporary. We've been renovating the main floor of the house so the system is relegated to the basement. Acoustics are actually superior, but I still prefer listening to music 'above ground'.
Those Shanling M0 are fantastic. I have one for jogging and workouts, and it's built like a tank and drives my earphones really well. User interface is better than most of those small mp3 players. Native FLAC, reasonable price, what's not to like?
Today, while cleaning house. You’ll notice the common denominator Shanling M0....love this little dude.
Just right up Federal Hwy. I went to school at Bennett Elementary and worked at Powell Ford for many years.
Moving DIZAY! will send pics of new jam room. I have a separate apartment below the hizy so I’m told. Anyway sounds cool. Peace brothers and sisters!
Running two separate systems - Multimedia and stereo Analog is... Hana SL > SystemDek IIX > Rogue RP-5 > deHavilland Aries 845-Gs > Wilson Benesch Curves The back of the room. Just finished building second record rack.
