Hello, for those with a Pro-Ject VC-S2 ALU, when the platter goes around does it appear perfectly flat, and is it completely sturdy to the touch or is there a bit of a wobble? I've just acquired a unit and the screw to affix the bottom of the platter doesn't seem to go in all the way. The end result is a slight, but not significant, unevenness when the platter rotates. I'm worried it may lead to damage to a record when the platter is at its most elevated, although I couldn't see any evidence of that when I tried a couple of records. Videos on YouTube indicate maybe a slight wobble, but I feel like the screw should have went further in. I did try several screwdrivers and it seemed stubborn, though...
I have same wobble as well, usually these kind of abbreviations trigger my audio ocd but I let it go because the suction works well and it’s one less thing to worry about
