    This thread and picture makes me drool uncontrollably.

    I had a Pioneer SX-727 back in the 70s that I adored....but seeing one of its Big Brothers just makes me break into a cold sweat. Congrats on the buy!

    Well I finally have the new receiver set up and I am simply blown away. The update in sound is exactly what I was expecting, nice warm detailed sound. For those interested I have a sample clip on my youtube channel:

    I love how you reach in to crank up the volume!

    Heart on vinyl thru a vintage Pioneer.....I feel like Sherman...Mr. Peabody dialed the Wayback Machine to the 70's. :D
