Apparently the seller is a person on here who read about this cd fetching crazy prices and is now trying their luck - so I publicly apologize for the name calling!!
Gee, it would have been nice of Amazon to list the artists as well as the track titles. A few of those I recognise, many I don't though I would probably know the artists.

Try using "De-solv-it" citrus cleaner, available from Bunnings. Wonderful for reasonably new adhesive residue, and won't damage the plastic. It will do a good job with the old hardened residue, but you might need to put some elbow grease into it to get it to budge (and there may be some minor damage to the plastic with all that work, but it's better than having all that "f***ing" stuff on the cds, as you put it).
That’s awkward, but to make this a productive experience I hope that member will let us know if they do actually get a $9,500 PayPal payment into their account. The eBay & PayPal fees would be healthy!
Thanks for that. See, here's a case in point; when I saw the title "Seasons of Change" I assumed it would be the song by Blackfeather, which I venture to suggest is what most people would assume, that song being somewhat better known.
Yeah I have bought heaps of new jewel cases over the years but still find a heap of CDs with the residue on them and often I would prefer to keep the original cases. Also, that could be expensive- I have a CD collection of almost 8000.
If one mediocre CD is repeatedly & legitimately selling for several thousand dollars then it’s beyond a joke!
If I found a copy of that CD in an op shop or at the local CD recycler I would be tempted to buy it and flip it for those stupid prices as well! However, I would likely loose sleep worrying about the negative impact on my street-level credibility.
The prices should be falling as more copies are put up for sale. I suspect diehard Mannix fans who need the CD are harder to find than the CD itself.
I've never worried about my street level credibility, even when I bought that Kat Worship Me or Die! CD (49p, thankyou very much). I certainly don't lose sleep over any of my Elaine Paige CDs.
Yeap, and now I've just become the biggest Mannix hunter in Australia! Buy and Flip might be my new obsession.
I was in an op shop and the first two CDs in the box were Bryan Adams and Brain McFadden. Close but no cigar!!
haha! I've come across some Damien Leath, some Tina Arena's, even some Wiggle's......Close, but no Cigar's here either.
