Behringer U-Phono UFO202 (I tried one, it is ok for this price, probably only a tiny bit better than the LP120's)

ART USB Phono Plus (well regarded for the price)

Parasound Zphono USB (on the edge of "high end")

    Let the $1000 suggestions begin.

The above links are just for info and comparison. Many online stores have these, generally including free shipping, and better service. Sweetwater is one. If there is any problem or question, they can help by phone. The Big A is unreachable and won't know what it is.

I use the built in phono stage in my Akai AA-R50 reciever (about $100-$150), or the one in my Yamaha C-50 preamp (around $160-$300). Both of which have excellent phono stages. From there, I just go into a Focusrite Scarlett 18i8 (You could accomplish the same thing with 2i2, which can be had for $150) for the conversion. If you want to stay on the cheap, you can use a Diamond Audio XS71UV2 (about $30). It's certainly not as precise as the Focusrite D/A converters, but a great value for money nonetheless.

I just get a set of RCA to 1/4" TRS adapters and run the from the tape monitor outputs to the interface.
