Looking for a multimeter for occasional use so I can test cartridges and such. Not looking for spend $300+ on a pro grade one. Are there any reasonably accurate models that sell for less than $50?

Recently bought a cheap Klein (mm400) to keep in my car. I'm not sure how accurate it is for things like cap tests, but I've been pleased with it for the basics. It's a reputable brand at least.

I've had a Tenma 72-5095 for years, and I still use it constantly. It's likely been replaced by something better and - perhaps - less expensive (although mine wasn't more than $30). Korean made, FWIW.

I have checked a bunch and there are always some reviews that complain about accuracy. So I thought I'd ask for a more specific recommendation here. Thanks.

The cheap Klein DMM is a good one for little money. Klein makes many of the best electrician's tools on the market, and they're a delight to use. Fluke still makes a good DMM even if they were better some years ago.
