Neil Young hasn't announced what he's releasing yet. He's released something for most RSDs (rangely widely in quality: in 2017, he did a rerelease of Decade which was silly, but in 2018 he released a live set from Tonight's the Night era at the Roxy which is a great album). With the Neil Young Archives getting promoted so heavily, I'm betting he's going to put something out.

I'm wondering if the Pearl Jam release will have something to do with when they collaborated with Neil. That'd be one of two conditions under which I'd consider adding a Pearl Jam LP to my collection. (The other would be a live set with Jeremy on it, which is something I think I'd listen to a few times a year.)

Not silly at all...it was remastered quite well.

It's worth noting that the majority of Neil's past RSD releases are "RSD First" and are commonly available at a later date (often at a cheaper price).

    shhh, you'll give 'em ideas!

That Iggy idea is priceless - and not beyond some lunatic to try... does anyone have the tools to sync 'em up and see what you'd get?

It will of course have a monumentally disappointing sleeve where yet another of Mick Rock's King's Cross photos will have it's background clumsily 'shopped to a too dense black. The back will be black with just the titles in an era-inappropriate font.

Additional stimulus to buy will be provided by a bonus 2019 remix of 'Your Pretty Face is Going To Hell' featuring renowned mumble-rap and youtube legend Sdaxz*7L.

Hot News!! Blood on the Tracks test pressing replica to be an RSD 2019 release. This courtesy of new issue of Goldmine. This may warrant its own thread! Article says it’s to be an exact replica and limited to 8000 copies. I’d post a pic but it’s virtually impossible to figure out how to do it easily.

That’s great news, but maybe renders my More Blood, More Tracks double album purchase unnecessary. I’ll definitely get the test pressing but not sure I need the recent reissue now.

We're talking about RSD 2019, not RSD 2143.

6th of March. Seems it's likely to be released end of Feb, beginning of March this year as RSD itself is a bit earlier this time.

Jack White is such an embarrassment, both as a musician and as a "audiophile/music industry" person. Tired of his gimmicks.

It's not a rumour, my favorite record shop near me told me so. It's officially on their listings.
Also, concerning Neil Young, the only thing listed is a reissue of Four Way Street.
    And there is this thing:
    Peter Gabriel - Rated PG

Anyone knows what it is ? Couldn't find a thing on the internet.

Hopefully a 10” single of “ Crazy Mary” at 45 RPM mastered AAA by Kevin Gray on SRX black vinyl at $9.99 . I’d issue about twenty thousand copies. That will get people in the record stores. Guess the record industry isn’t that smart.

Awesome and most appropriate! Will be a great companion to the 2015 RSD release of the Original Basement Tapes acetate, and a great complement to the MBMT sets.
