Can’t wait either. I’m happy with everything they do since Frusciante is back :)

There are lots of options in Vinyl so it seems. Hope there are CD options too.

That 17 second clip is already better than anything off Unlimited Love.

Agreed, we are finally getting an upbeat funky track from the Red Peppers... maybe this is the album they get the hot chili back into their sound.

I wouldn't expect a change of sound between these two albums. They are all part of the same group of songs.

I'd be shocked if this album was full of funk blasters or something. There may be a few on there, but I expect it to sound similar to UL overall. I could be completely wrong and it is full of funky songs, but I guess we'll see.

It looks like the Tour Edition CD bonus track will be Whatchu Thinkin’ (live).

“Tippa My Tongue” is a great psychedelic funk RHCP track. And I hear the album itself is more psychedelic than Unlimited Love.

Tippa My Tongue – Hendrix-esque with some earlier Blood Sugar, Californication funk vibes. Two thumbs up for me!

Heard a leak of the song. It’s a decent midtempo funk rock number similar to what you’d hear on Californication. The “ya yas” and “na nas” are kind of lame, but overall, it’s pretty good.

Link to the song for those who can’t wait haha. Think this song is very good and feel that they should have had this song as their original lead single rather than Black Summer, it packs way more of a punch! That chorus is fantastic and stuck in my head sounds like a hybrid of Freaky Styley, BSSM, Stadium. Great start to ROTDC!

So, expecting to surmise they only had one single album's worth of decent songs that we will soon discover were spread unnecessarily across 2 album's length. This should have been the first (and only) single (so far.) This is great but the only 2 songs that have been worthy of a comeback album have been "The Heavy Wing" and "Tippa My Tongue." (Maybe, "White Braids & Pillow Chair"....)

Decent song. Was hoping for a solo to conclude the song, but I can dig this.

Do we know for sure if the vinyl for this will be all-analog like the last one was?

The intro's not really my cuppa.

For some reason, watching that video I'm expecting the other guy from Dumb And Dumber to also jump into view ...

I haven't seen it confirmed anywhere yet but I'd have thought it will be, with the songs having come from the same sessions and the band (Flea in particular) having made such a big point of mentioning it when 'Unlimited Love' released.
