I hope they keep Oil Rigs in the set for this week's London show. I think it's the definitive Delines song.
So I had the pleasure of seeing The Delines over the last two nights in London and Brighton. Two great gigs, London probably had the edge (maybe because I was literally standing directly in front of Amy Boone so I felt like I was having my own private gig!), but I was thrilled to finally see the band live and they did not disappoint (and they played Oilrigs at Night at both gigs!) Support on both nights was from the wonderful Joana Serrat. I hadn't heard of Joana before, but I can highly recommend her most recent album (which I bougth at the gig).
Two new Willy Vlautin-related releases out now. A 2-track vinyl/digital release from The Delines and a new Willy Vlautin spoken-word CD, Kill Switch (which also includes The Delines providing the music). Eight Floors Up b/w Wait For Me, by The Delines Willy Vlautin with The Delines 'The Kill Switch' cd audiobook with exclusive vocal and instrumental tracks preorder Nov 1st
I recently picked up the two mp3's and the extras from The Imperial and I must say that Eight Floors Up is my favorite song out of the 17 "Imperial Sessions" songs. Supposedly they're heading back to the studio for another album

New live release on Bandcamp from RF's final tour; Richmond Fontaine - A Farewell Show, by Richmond Fontaine
And now news of the new Delines album, The Sea Drift, due 111 February 2022 The Sea Drift, by The Delines
Yea, Craig started a thread on the new album yesterday, though will probably take some help for it to stay afloat and not sink into the lost thread abyss The Delines - The Sea Guilt - New Album February 11th, 2022
Hehehe, hadn't noticed that, who knows where he got that title from, should be The Sea Drift of course, I reported it and asked gorts to change the title
Anyone reading this thread already knows that the Delines like Richmond Fontaine are like hidden treasure. They both have lots of great music that remains largely unheard by the general public. It’s a shame really because between them they’ve released some wonderful albums. I expect The Sea Drift will continue that trend
New video for the RSD release of The Night Always Comes. Anyone know if this will be available in The USA?
It's strange, but Amazon has it up for pre-order. Wouldn't think they would have access to RSD releases, and shouldn't be able to pre-order them, but there it is
That's interesting. I would like to avoid paying UK shipping costs like I did with "Post To Wire" and "We Used To Think..." RSD only for them to become available in The US later.
Don't Think Less of Me is fantastic of course. This is all good news except this looks like a vinyl only release. I hope we see a Cd version at some point.
