Oh that’s bad…looks like a cosplay version of them. I am a Zombie fan and enjoy his horror movies and some of his music but this…this is kaka.
There is a rumour he will be redoing Jaws next…of course we know who he will get to star in it to play Bruce.
it seems he left off his fingerprint and wore sterile gloves...after seeing the trailer I am a little confused.
A lot of youtube comments are saying it has a 90s Canadian Nickelodeon vibe. I grew up in the 90s so this isn't a bad thing to me. Lol
Absolutely unwatchable by humans. It looks like a half-baked, low-budget high school play version of the 1960s show. All the actors are doing cheap impressions of the original characters. Also, ugly pictures and a bad sound mix -- it feels very amateurish to me (though in fairness, sometimes trailers are "temp" versions for color and sound).
Oh dear. That’s awful. I didn’t chuckle once. I don’t like them mimicking the voices. Hate the make up too. It looks like a poor tour company troupe. It probably would be ok as a live stage show but as a movie, I’m fearful that it’s crash and burn time.
agree totally! I want to know why Eddie, Marilyn and Spot are MIA?...they were missing in the Black & White Intro...weird? I guess I'm going to have to call butch and get his take on this!
The trailer says it’s a love story about Herman and Lily and there are scenes of them flirting and courting. It looks like grandpa freshly made Herman. So no Eddie…yet. But maybe Eddie, Marilyn and Spot show up later in the movie or even at the end and are not in the trailer. Or they’ll pop up in a sequel if the movie is successful. I’m guessing they’ll be in the latter part of the movie. As someone else said, it’s an origin story.
I think the idea was to do a cracked campy version of the already campy show, which includes excess and exaggeration of course. It's a tough assignment, the show was a bit dumb itself, the smart show was The Addams family.
