    Yes. Psychobilly.

Even better, saw The Flat Duo Jets open for The Cramps. Top-notch, drugged-out rockabilly.

Those 2 songs were put on different albums. One was on the Rockin' With Wanda album, the other was put on the There's A Party Goin' On album. Then she also has a couple of Elvis tunes on her debut self-titled album (such as Long Tall Sally).

Do anyone has any compilations of rare rockabilly from the '50s/early '60s to recommend from the last 5 years? I am mostly looking for stuff that hasn't been compiled before.

I knew Hayden pretty well for awhile although I haven’t seen him in years.

Besides his singing career he drove a limo in the area where I worked at a music store, so we struck up a friendship, or at least a nice acquaintanceship. :D

A nicer guy you couldn’t meet and it was fascinating thinking about him being there so early in the formation of rock or rockabilly or whatever. I went and saw him perform a couple of times and he was very good.

He drove a limo and he’s kind of an interesting obscure musical footnote here in the US, but he told me when he went to Sweden to perform all the “kids” were singing along with him and knew the words to his songs. He was still a semi hero to them I guess.
