Because it was one of their best tours of all time! Great setlists, good pacing to the shows, band was really playing well (particularly Keith). I dig Bremen quite a lot... and I'm prepared to double down on this one!

Hope it will include "Like a Rolling Stone" with Bob Dylan guesting on guitar & vocals. Cool:

Great tour, agreed, and the No Security shows in 1999 were even better!

This has not been confirmed yet.

It also might be another Japan only release.

If it is a release of the show which was broadcast on television in Argentina, this is the set list.

March 30: Anybody Seen My Baby, 19th Nervous Breakdown, She's A Rainbow, You Don't Have To Mean It, I Just Wanna Make Love To You. - songs not played at every other show in Argentina.

In addition, Little Queenie was played on the b stage at every show in Argentina.

    (Satisfaction/Let’s Spend The Night Together/Flip The Switch/Gimme Shelter/
Anybody Seen My Baby?/19th Nervous Breakdown/Saint Of Me/Out Of
    Control/She’s A Rainbow/Miss You/Band introduction/You Don’t Have To
Mean It/Wanna Hold You/Little Queenie/I Just Want To Make Love To You/
    Like A Rolling Stone/Sympathy For The Devil/Tumbling Dice/Honky Tonk
Women/Start Me Up/Jumping Jack Flash/You Can’t Always Get What You
    Want/Brown Sugar).

This set list is better than the recently released Bremen show in my opinion.

    oh man.....
    these guys know 5000+ songs!!

why always the same old warhorses?????

(this has been my major Stones gripe for almost 30 years)

    I know they're a legacy band but...…….sheeesh…..
    what about the legacy fans?

I would actually be in favor of a dvd/cd compilation of the songs not played as often from the 5 show run. It is sort of what they tried to do with the No Security album release.

Back to the real world...because many of those songs would be lousy and/or boring buzzkills live. And it’s not as easy to just dust off a couple hundred songs to play on a whim for a tour/stage act like the Stones as most complainers like to think.

Most importantly, 90% of the crowd doesn’t care about chestnuts and the other 10% mostly disagree on which ones they want to hear.

You can’t always get you want...

However, it doesn't prevent them from releasing a cd/dvd compilation of the more rarely played songs.

I think all of these recent vault releases have somewhat lukewarm sales, even the long sought On Air BBC sessions didn't sell as much as they thought it would.

I'm honestly surprised that anyone listens to Stones shows from after 1981.

I saw them on the Steel Wheels tour and it was a snoozefest.

We don't really know at this point as there has been nothing announced and nothing has shown up on the Japanese sites.

In regards to the BBC set...maybe enough people realized that the bootleg sources Abkco used (and the Abbey Road studio “fake stereo" remastering job) were complete garbage? Sure, there are people (even on this forum) who don't care and don't know any better, but maybe if they had put forth a considerable effort, it would have sold a lot more copies?

I think the problem is more that they waited too long to release it.
