I'm hoping for an official physical release by itself. If not, I still have my less than legal version.

I asked this question in another thread, but does anyone know what the DR values are for the CDs that were released in the big, limited-edition Brussels box set? Same as the official FLAC download?

Sure. I just received this big box (from Amazon.com that offered some limited quantities recently).

Surprise, surpise >> the japanese recent cds have exaclty the same DR values as the super extra box (2012) !!! , unlike the DRs values of the Downloads are more dynamic from both:

The Cds certainly have a poor DR and compressed sound. On teh other side; the presentation in these fatboy cases is quite practical and I should add that the overall pack is very well made. The interior book does not have enough information (at least in English), but it's the only physical release (in addition to the expensive box "Brussles Affair '73) ... I imagine that soon We will see a release on vinyl and cd that is not conditioned by that of "Limited edition "

I'd love to hear the official release of Brussels. I couldn't afford the Japanese Marquee set, and the download isn't available in the US anymore. I guess that old saying is right, "ya snooze, ya lose."

The bootleg is okay, but the placement of the guitars in the soundstage is all over the place.

I personally think Brussels 73 is the best live Stones you can get....better than Ya Yas, better than Live in LA 75, just the best.

if they wanna charge so much for it they cant be surprised if people find a way to 'obtain' it other ways

There are rumours circulating that Brussels Affair is going to be released on its own in some format next year - DVD ?

I have the box, and the vinyl is far superior to the CD's. They really shouldn't release that mastering.

So any news on when the vinyl set of this will be released? Folks will be lining up for that one! I did buy the download for around $6 and it sounds nice but vinyl is needed for a masterpiece such as this!

Is it pretty safe to say the downloads sound better than the Cd's across the board?
