They're so limited I really think anybody who's set on purchasing is gonna do so anyway, no matter what the reviews say.

What a pal! Given the review, I think I’ll just stick with the 4 copies I have!

Yea, I have too many copies of LIB anyways. Strange that there's no poster.

Yes, that poster is almost as cool as the album itself! In a perfect world, no copy of the album would ever be pressed without that poster! I think that is somewhere in the Stones contract...:D

Yea generic in the terms of the cheapest, basic kind you can get ordered by the pressing plant.

I wonder how it sounds? What’s the source? If it’s another copy of the DSD master, it should at least sound good.

Um...foot on the brakes. I hadn't played the video when I made my last post. I wish well to whomever chooses to lay out their hard owned hundred bucks for this. Disgraceful.

It is incredible that they are charging $100 for that. Just wow that someone paid $300.

Thanks for unboxing one, I can definitely live without. I have plenty of hand pours already, sure not of Stones notoriety, but none set me back more than $30. I was expecting a one step style box with the price tag. I'm not seeing the $100 value with this one, a cash grab to be sure. Standard single pocket sleeve with an obi and a certificate and a hand pour. If you want a hand pour grab a wax mage or new fumes pressing from an esoteric band and save some money if you want a pretty record. I'm sure they will inevitably sell out and go for a ridiculous aftermarket because of the scarcity.

Abkco has got nothing left to market. The Stones now have them by the balls so you get this.

I suspect you're correct. People will want to own it due to rarity more than anything else.

And as a (CD) collector, I can't criticize that!

But this does look cynical on the part of the people behind it. $100 for one album??? :wtf:

So literally just a colored vinyl makes it 100 bucks, poor saps cutting each others throats to get that lol.

But with only 900 why is this guy opening one instead of selling it ? Im assuming hes bought it, which is why he feels so stupid ? But apparently he can go sell it on ebay for 300. That should make you feel better.

They just re-issued Metamorphosis, I think on colored vinyl. I'd love to see a re-issue of More Hot Rocks Big Hits and Fazed Cookies which they seem to have passed over. And if they put out box sets of Aftermath and Between The Buttons with remastered SQ on par with of the 50th Let It Bleed box, I'd go for them. But this RSD thing right here transcends logic.
