Rolling Stones-Will we See the Emi/Virgin Titles in Sacd

I am looking forward to the Stones hybrid cd's.Will Emi/Virgin
be releasing-sticky fingers,exile on main st.some girls in Sacd or
will they be released in Dvd-a.i hope sacd since that is the only format i have.

Virgin is an EMI company, or at least last I knew. I'd really like to see if Capitol/EMI really does have a deep dedication for DVD-A. We will have to see!

I wonder if ABKCO will upgrade their vinyl reissues?? Maybe they can hire/freelance Steve to do the analog mastering from these original tapes they found?

Wow, Todd ... THAT would be sweet! I still haven't gone digital hi-rez, so I would welcome that with open arms. I have the feeling vinylphiles will be ignored in this campaign, though ... Or if they aren't, there'll be digital LPs. Again.

 

Well, maybe we can shoot some polite e-mails over there. I think there would be a nice demand for a vinyl "upgrade". I hope they keep it analog (doubtful) but off of DSD masters wouldn't be the end of the world. Maybe AP can work some magic with ABKCO about undertaking this with Steve and Kevin Gray. Heck, why not??
