Close only counts in horseshoes, right?

    There's
    Jimi Hendrix - Electric Ladyland
    and
    Kirsty MacColl - Electric Landlady

edited to add: Shocked that (a) someone mentioned it upthread and knew the Kirsty album and (b) there was actually a second LP called "Electric Landlady!"

Call me Nitpicky Joe, but I think the "The" differentiates the two.

One is "Rising", the other is "The Rising".

    Totally different, man! :D

IIRC, wasn't the Prince album really released without a formal title?

It's commonly called "The Black Album" but I don't think it was "legally" billed that way...

It has it's own entry on All Music with that name. So, not sure about the technicalities beyond it being withdrawn from initial release.

Wiki's entry calls it that as well - because they gotta call it something! :D

Wiki also says that it came with no title for the scuttled 1987 edition and that the 1994 issue used the same art.

Clearly it became known as "The Black Album" but it doesn't appear that it formally was called that by Prince - it looks like it was totally untitled...

There's no "The" with Clarkson's....so I hope that's alright, Oats.
