Seeking advice on new [not vintage] speakers

    I know. I paid $10 for it at a garage sale. Original owner and the one known issue from the factory was rectified via a service bulletin shortly after he bought it. Thanks for the advice. I may just go over budget and buy the 240's.

    In a sudden turn of events I have opted for the Wharfedale Denton 80th anniversary speakers at $399 from MD. I really want to hear these and if they're not an acceptable fit with my living room system I'm sure they will make excellent bedroom speakers.

    Awesome! I bet they will sound great. You always have their 60 day return policy though if you don't like them.
